New Farm:

In order to host the CZUSD Olive Garden Pool, we will need to provide a CZUSD-BUSD farm that will have 2x OLIVE rewards for the first two days, then returns to 1x OLIVE rewards.

CZUSD/BUSD is a stablecoin LP farm. CZUSD uses both overcollateralized debt and an economically neutral algorithmic peg to maintain stability.

What is CZUSD?

CZUSD is an algorithmic stablecoin overcollateralized with CZF. By using economically neutral algorithmic alterations to the LP pool, CZUSD is able to offer much lower borrow collateralization ratios for the same level of volatility of underlying capital. Since the protocol’s economic token CZF is the same as the collateral token, undercollateralized debt does not need to be liquidated as the underlying CZF is effectively burned when debt goes unpaid. The combination of algorithmic stabilization with high volatiltiy collateral reduces the complexity of the code base compared to other lending platforms. Reduced complexity means a smaller attack surface for hackers, a lower chance for bugs, and a greater possibility for the safe addition of new features.

Launch Sequence

These actions are performed by the CZodiac team over days/weeks to ensure a smooth launch with safeguards. At any point during this deployment the CZodiac team may pause one or more contracts to guarantee safety of the assets entrusted in the farms, pools, CZUSD holdings, and CZF market capitalization. 1. CZFarm plus CZUSD is minted as permanently locked liquidity equal to 50% of the value fo the CZFarm/BUSD pool. This provides stability for the price peg during the launch. 2. CZUSD minting will be limited to 10% of the CZUSD in the CZFarm/CZUsd pool. As funds flow into this pool, the cap will be raised. 3. The CZUSD/BUSD farm will be deployed once the TVL of the CZFarm/CZUsd exceeds $25k, or at the discretion of the CZodiac team. This is to prevent arbitrators from targeting the pegging mechanism. 4. The CZUSD pool for earning CZF is deployed once the CZUSD/BUSD farm exceeds $50k TVL, or at the discretion of the CZodiac team. This is to guarantee sufficient liquidity for direct BUSD to CZUSD purchases. 5. Peg will be continuously tightened as liquidity permits. At launch, the peg will be from 0.95 to 1.05. The objective with the peg is to keep it as tight as possible while triggering rebalances infrequently.

Technical Specification

CZUSD consists of three core smart contracts: CZUsd for the BEP20 stablecoin; CZUsdBorrow for depositing collateral, minting new CZUSD against that collateral, and repaying CZUSD to release collateral; and CZUsdStablization which mints/burns CZUSD and CZF from the CZUSD/CZF pool in an economically neutral way to maintain the CZUSD peg within set bounds. Additionally CZUSD integrates with several peripheral contracts; CZF, the equity token for the algorithmic stabilization; IERC20 collalteral tokens, and Pancakeswap TWAP oracles for determining both CZUSD and collateral prices.
